You might have once believed—or maybe you still do—that being “healthy” or “fit” or “skinny” was a fixed trait that people were either born with or not. They either “get it,” or it’s “in their genes,” or they have some inborn unshakable “willpower,” all of which you (unfortunately) don’t possess…which is why you can’t have the life you want. “That’s just the way the cookie crumbles.” Right?  

I’m going to prove that belief wrong. I’m going to show you why losing weight and mastering your diet is a dynamic skill that can be cultivated and developed quite easily with basic training, no matter where you’re starting from.

Nutrition is one part of an enormous puzzle. It’s one dimension of a multi-dimensional subject: YOU! That’s why diets alone aren’t enough. The diet itself—as in, what you’re eating—is once piece of the puzzle. The food is important, of course, but mastering your diet is really about everything else: your mindset, your attitude toward learning, your willingness to sacrifice immediate results for long-term success, your motivation, and most importantly your habits: the way you carry yourself in the world; the specific patterns in which you automatically do things.
